PCM Marine Engine Company is proud to announce a new and exciting additional incentive for Ski Nautique Big Dawg (SNBD) tournament slalom competitors. In addition to the $24,000 purse up for grabs at the four Regional Qualifiers and the SNBD Finals, tournament winners who train behind a PCM-powered boat will take home the PCM Big Dawg Bounty -- $500 per qualifier and $1000 at the Finals.
"Tournament slalom skiers have been our core clients for the 32 years PCM has been providing premium inboard power," says PCM President Chuck Thurman. "We are delighted to support the Ski Natuique Big Dawg Series and to be able to reward the winners who train behind our inboards."
The Big Dawg Series is open to skiers over the age of 35 who have not placed in the top 10 of a Pro Slalom tournament in the past three years. The venue is a heart-pounding head-to-head slalom competition pulled by two PCM-powered Ski Nautiques. The participants advance through the two-day events, leaving the best skier standing. In the four Regional Qualifiers, the competitors vie for cash prizes and the chance to advance to the SNBD Finals in Orlando, Florida on September 27th-28th.
"PCM has supported traditional water ski competitions and the Ski Nautique Big Dawg Series from day one," says the tournament's founder and organizer Greg Davis. "Now, the PCM Big Dawg Bounty adds a new level of excitement and a bonus for the athletes."
