Official Pleasurecraft Engine Group Press Release:
Little Mountain, SC (February 14, 2020) - Today at the 2020 Miami Boat Show Innovation Breakfast, Pleasurecraft Engine Group received the Innovation Award in the Inboard Engine Category for their entirely new Z Series of engines.
The Innovation Award is the recreational boating industry’s highest honor for innovative and technological achievement, judged by Boating Writers International.
Pleasurecraft Marine’s (PCM) Z Series is the most comprehensive product portfolio of engines in the inboard industry, spanning five engine models and ranging from 400HP-600HP. PCM’s Service Focused Design was a leading concept in the development of the Z Series – mandating common service points across multiple engine designs.
Leading the industry in exclusive features, PCM’s Z Series is the first portfolio to incorporate 100% closed cooling across every engine. This 100% antifreeze system cools PCM’s patented CXS catalyzed exhaust manifolds in addition to the block, providing longevity and reliability in harsh marine environments.
Pleasurecraft President Mark McKinney stated, “We are honored to receive this Innovation Award. Our engineering team has spent thousands of hours designing, developing, and validating this entirely new portfolio of engines. It was no easy feat and we are grateful to receive this recognition.”
The Z Series of engines is on display at the Miami International Boat Show in booth F242. For more information, follow @PCMengines on Facebook and Instagram and check out the website at www.pcmengines.com.
