Official Pleasurecraft Engine Group Press Release:
Little Mountain, SC (February 27, 2020) - Yesterday at the Watersports Industry Association Summit 2020, Pleasurecraft Engine Group received their second Innovation Award for the entirely new Z Series of engines. The Water Sports Innovation Awards recognize industry leaders and their products that have pushed the towed water sports marketplace to new heights over the past year.
Pleasurecraft Marine’s (PCM) Z Series is the most comprehensive product portfolio of engines in the inboard industry, spanning five engine models and ranging from 400HP-600HP. PCM’s Service Focused Design was a leading concept in the development of the Z Series – mandating common service points across multiple engine designs.
Leading the industry in exclusive features, PCM’s Z Series is the first portfolio to incorporate 100% closed cooling across every engine. This 100% antifreeze system cools PCM’s patented CXS catalyzed exhaust manifolds in addition to the block, providing longevity and reliability in harsh marine environments.
Pleasurecraft President Mark McKinney stated, “We are honored to be presented with a second Innovation Award for this new portfolio of engines. The new Z Series of engines were years in the making and we are excited at how they have been received by the industry and the recognition they are getting.”
