Official Liberty Technologies Press Release:
Little Mountain, SC (July 18, 2023) - Pleasurecraft Engine Group employees volunteered for Camp Kemo’s Lake Fun Day by providing 4 towboats for kids to enjoy a day on Lake Murray boating, tubing, and swimming.
Camp Kemo, Prisma Health Children’s Hospital’s flagship program, is a weeklong summer camp experience for children with cancer and their siblings. Staffed by physicians, nurses, and volunteers, Camp Kemo allows campers to swim, boat, hike and simply be children. The fun times at CAMP KEMO lay important groundwork for future treatment as participants learn to trust, respect and relate to one another.
Mark McKinney, President of Pleasurecraft stated, “Camp Kemo is one of the events that I have the privilege of being a part of every year. Giving back to our local community is a huge part of our company culture, and being able to use our products to support this program is truly a blessing. This year, they were searching for additional boats and volunteers to ensure every kid had a chance to get out on the water, and I am proud of our team for stepping up to fulfill that need and providing a fun day on the lake for all of these kids.”
