MONTICELLO, AR (July 17, 2017) -– On Saturday, July 15th, SeaArk Boats hosted an employee appreciation event. The event consisted of a fishing tournament, various outdoor games, horseshoe competition, boat rides, and lunch. Employees also received free t-shirts and hats as well as a variety of door prizes that were given out throughout the event.
The winners of the fishing tournament were Jodie and Kennedie Prince who walked away with $300.00. Second place went to Scott and Braden Sparks, while third went to Sam and Trent Land, each team winning $200 and $100 respectively. The winner of the horseshoe competition was John Wheeler and Derek McClain who won $50.
President Steve Henderson stated, “We are glad to be able to give back to our employees who work so hard for us. We have consistently done quarterly luncheons for employees, but wanted to create an even bigger event for the employees and their families. We’re proud to work with these people and want to show them that.”
The big giveaway for the event was a SeaArk 1648 MV fully rigged with a 15HP Yamaha engine and trailer. The winner was Justin Caine who has been with the company for 3 years. Justin said “I’m excited about winning the giveaway boat! I’ve already had several co-workers try to buy it from me, but I plan on keeping it and using it. I’m going fishing this weekend.”
