Orlando, FL (September 15, 2022) - Watershed Innovation, a subsidiary of Correct Craft that works to ideate, iterate, and incubate new technologies, has officially launched its Osmosis telematics platform.
Osmosis is designed to connect suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, and end customers to their boats over a cellular connection from anywhere in the world. With over 10,000 units in the field, Osmosis is among the largest providers of telematics solutions in the recreational marine industry.
While the platform includes custom-branded consumer apps for end customers to access helpful information about their boating experience, it also enables dealers to provide levels of proactive service that are not otherwise achievable. Everything happens in a secure environment that prioritizes end customer privacy and data security.
For OEMs, Osmosis eliminates the time delay between experiences in the field and gives valuable anonymized information to engineers for product improvements. These improvements include over-the-air updates and calibrations to onboard systems that are expected in today’s products and have historically been very costly for manufacturers to deliver.
