Terrible looking boat. I'd be surprised if you were not completely embarrassed to be seen in that thing. I think you need to donate it and write it off on your taxes. Being in the generous mood that I am in at the moment, I can forward you an address to ship it to

Of course I'm just kidding. Great looking boat - why are you considering selling it?

Honestly....I'm in a gray area with it at the moment...one day it's sell it...the next day it's keep it...it's a good chunk of change that I could use against the mortgage/ emergency etc...but it's so much fun when it hits the water...then it comes down to the extra day of cleaning it after I use it....might have to do a pro/con list....

It's also amazing how much weather plays a huge factor in the feelings of your boat as well....

Just sit tight. Warmer weather is right around the corner.

I'd take your boat in a heartbeat. Very clean looking....just wait until the frost disappears, then you'll be glad that you have it.

In my opinion, unless you absolutely have to sell it, or are selling to replace it with a different boat, I'd keep it. The minute the new owner tows it away, you'll regret it. You'll drop you head, shuffle your way into the house, turn your computer on, surf over to PN, and then post a thread in the "Boat's Wanted" section. You know I'm right

If you want cheaper, I would trade you my 1985 2001 with a pylon or my 1993 sport with a tower and some cash so you wouldnt be out a boat. I just want a rear ski locker and fuel injection I love your color scheme.

Personally I sell the Durango before I'd sell the boat. I had a Green and White 2000 Sport. Miss that boat. I wish they would do the 99 graphics on the 216. I would trade in an instant... If you got it new and sold it today maybe get 25ish. Guessing you paid in the 30s for it. You would be spend 50K+ to get another new Nauti.

I'm sure RedBird would make to 4000 mile trip pick it up. That boat is what you need for the reunion.

Looks like it was parked at Orwood to me. It was warm enough to
get that boat out yesterday. BKH

I am in a similar (not exact) situation. I am needing to upgrade my trailer for my 99 sport....but, maybe I should think about upgrading the whole setup....but, I love my 99....

very tough to know what to do in that situation.

You guys are all very good help...or are you...hahaha..

Red57Bird...you're probably right...I really enjoy my boat and have the 3 years I've owned it...sure there have been times where the simplest problem really made me scratch my head...but hey...I like that kind of stuff...all in good fun....

TRDon...that would be one extensive drive...but the more I read up on all of you guys, the more I realize your dedication towards your hobby

Cradsv21104....the Durango is long gone...bought a Ridgeline 2 years ago and love it....and yes..my guess was I would hopefully get around 25K for it...and the thought of replacing it with another boat only leads me to some boat like a Reinel or a Maxxum....I don't know...we'll see what happens...

bkhallpass....you got it..that was Orwood...the first time I ever got gas...I've learned so much since then...and yes it was near perfect outside...today a little better...and supposed to be pretty nice this weekend...and here I was thinking I would have to wait until May for this good weather..hmmmm

                        If you have no payment..
If you want the $$ in case of emergency...
Keep the boat, its an asset you can enjoy with family and friends and sell only if there is an urgent need for the $$.
A Nautique without a payment is always in the asset category and its going to depreiciate very slow.
After owning an inboard an i/o would be a huge disappointment.
Bottomline, you are the only one who knows your personal finance sitch

Not sure about the rest of you but it was painful to read Reinel and Maxum on a Nautique website. At least you didn't use the "B" word (bayliner).

Quick story. My wife and I are looking at boats at the boat show a couple years ago. We are sitting in a Tige, both liking the boat she turn to me and says, it feels like our friends Todd and Ronica's boat. I looked at her and said we have to go NOW. The salesperson was taken back by the quick leave, he even said whats going on. We had just spent 2 hours with him. Shortening the story, our friends own a Bayliner. It clicked in my head when she said it. We bought our 04 211 15 minutes later.
