Well we pulled the trigger this weekend on a brand new 2007 Nautique 216. Paper work isn't 100% finalized, but there shouldn't be any obstacles.
We won't get it for a month or so (had to order the trailer). The boat itself was just pulled out of the stretch wrap last friday so we could get a look at the interior. Don't have any pics of the boat....sorry. But here is the color scheme from the 2008 "build-a-boat" pages on the Correct Craft Website. This should be pretty close.
This is a Team version with all the extras. Probably got more on it than I would have ever wanted...but, I am looking forward to that heater.
This is our first "Brand New" boat. Our first was a 1988 Ski Nautique 2001. We had that for about 6 months before we upgraded to our 1999 Sport Nautique. We've had that 99 for just over 4 years. It's gonna be hard to give that boat up...she has been absolutely awesome....someone will be getting a great used boat.
Many thanks to the folks at N3Boatworks in Indy. Mark put in some extra hours working with my family over the weekend. It's a awesome place and he's great to work with. Looking forward to a long relationship with that crew.
Just goes to show what can happen when you start looking for a new tandem axle trailer.....evidently those don't come without a new boat....go figure... Yellow_Flash_Colorz:
