We finally took the boat out for a spin today....

Build date: May 1996

Sold at Southeast Correct Craft to original owner of whom we bought it from.

77.7 original hours on boat and GT-40 motor as of today!

Gel and interior condition to match hours.

2008 Boatmate Tandem axle trailer with disc brakes.


She runs flawlessly and drives great! Took my wife, daughter, and son out for the occasion! This is my wife's first time on a direct drive ski boat. I began her training today on driving. It only took 20 minutes for her to take water over the nose for the first time! We got soaked in the process!

how does that MDX pull? what did you do with the old Ramlin trailer?

It does alright. No problems going up the ramp (rear wheels in the water, AWD but mainly FWD platform) and with the tandem disc brakes on all axles it stops like nothing is back there! NO surge clunk, it just stops. No problems accelerating either in traffic. My only concern is the transmission which Honda has had problems with on all their V-6 powered vehicles. They replaced it about 10k ago and it is under warranty so I'd like to push it to it's limits to see if it will make it. I added the factory tow package when the tranny was replaced which added the frame (unibody) hitch and power steering and transmission coolers. The trailer also tracks just like the boat as well! Which is significant considering my wheelbase.

My old trailer is at my father in laws' house in Athens, GA. He gave me 400 bucks just for the parts. I'm glad you didn't buy it because it was worse with the boat off of it. It just doesn't match the condition of the boat which is very close to perfect.
