    1987 Ski Nautique

I just joined this forum and have no pictures handy now so I am making this post to remind myself to post pictures. It's not the flashiest thing in the world, but I can board behind it. My dad slaloms behind this boat and has made his personal best (probably not so good to you all) of 12 bouys at 22 off behind this boat.

    pics coming soon

22 off is GREAT. Nice boat. Good to know that boarding and skiing can coexist in a family.

Nice and clean. How is the pylon rigging holding up? Are you able to work it like you thought?

What brand pylon extension is that? I don't recall seeing one hooked to the fron lifting lug.

Are lifting lugs strong enough for lateral (forward and/or backward) stress? I thought they were for vertical lifting only? But I am a bit of a novice...

Here is a pic of my old boat and it's fly high....this is the only system that I have seen...

Your boat is awesome. We really like our 1988 2001. We also were multi-purpose, and had no complaints. We simply out grew that sized boat. But sometimes I miss the 2001.

thanks for all the compliments and we are very proud of the boat.

socbum- the pylon is awesome and it was free lol thats the best part. worked it all like i stated on that other board (forgot the name lol)

Bigbald_SPLASH180 - the pylon is of no particular brand. my dad and I built this one out of a barefoot boom. i believe its detailed on another board.

about the front lifting lug: normally they are only strong enough for vertical lift, but when i installed the pylon, i crawled under the front and secured it from underneath to the engine box.

                            by the way nice boat
and thanks again for all the compliments.
