I go up north of 1097 all the time. Have been going up there for the last 15 years. You have to know the path. Once you do, you can make it another 5 miles up lake. Even when the yayhoos south of 1097 beat up the water, you can find good water farther up. From that point, it's dicey getting to the far north bridge. I haven't ventured that far up in about 7-8 years. Now that I have the private lake to ski on, we no longer go up there to ski.
