Wicked! One of the coolest CC's ever, imo. Only reason I wouldn't want one is I couldn't put a tower on it.

Very Nice I saw one a few months ago parked on the street in Davis California. Anybody know how many were made?

Hey! You in Houston? I was in the black silverado pulling the white/silver 196 the other night down 45 and then onto 2920/Spring Cypress. Thats a sweet looking boat!

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, im sort of torn about putting a tower on it or not..... I believe that there were only 82 of them made, this one is #53. And yeah that was me coming down 45 then 2920, live over in the Klein area. Was wondering if you were on here. Sweet looking rig you have. We were trying to find some smooth water on Conroe.

Very possible. You should have seen the water Wednesday evening. We used the kneedboard and wakeboards from 5:00 until 7:00. Glass!

The weekends are often a lost cause for waterskiing, but during the week it gets pretty good. One guy was pulling a skier on his PWC through their home made slalom course. Even the main part of the lake was calm.

Yeah we were there this past Wednesday evening, as well, on the north side. Only time we go out there. Saw a few fisherman and someone wakeboarding in the middle of the lake near the 1097 bridge...????

However, it was horrible though, i wouldn't recommend anyone going out there on the weekdays...............

Oh yeah. That's right. It was horrible. I forgot. Very rough out there. Lots of white caps.

Thanks, Claydog. I live just on the other side of 249 off of spring cypress. Before we started skiing on the private lake about 10 years ago, we spent many early mornings and late evenings skiing on Conroe. Our slalom course is still probably sunk up in that cove on the North side of 1097 a couple of miles up.

That was your course? Used to see that when i was a kid, a few years ago, my brother and his friends used to ski that course (15 years ago), it was 6 balls, then the nest time it would be 4 balls then 3, after that we never saw it again. Private, sounds nice. Im off of Cutten and Louetta.

Yep, that was ours. Put it in way back in the early 90s. It was crazy the turn we'd make deep in that cove. We called it the suicide slide. We mapped out the dogleg there by walking it and then staked it out with rebar. If you strayed a foot too wide or too tight, it was stump city. We witnessed many people destroy boats up there who'd seen us make the dogleg back to the course and thought they could do it. We maintained it pretty well until 98 when we started filling the private lake.

I would like to think post Katrina, all of the stumps were cut down even further. I'm in the cove between Bentwater & Walden, just inside the power lines, and I know we cut down any stumps that were poking above the water when it was 4 or 5 feet lower than normal for that **** dam repair.

I've never really gone to the cove you are talking about on the North side of the bridge. Is it the first one on the West side, North of the bridge?

No, it's farther north than that. Another couple of coves up on the west side. Since there are no homes there, I can't imagine they pulled any stumps when it was down.

Thanks. I'll check it out on a jetski first. 2 props and 1 rudder in 2 years are enough for me on this lake.
