Hey Dave,
So what so far do you like/dislike about it? How's the hole shot and top speed? RPM's at 36? Is it worth the $ premium? I'm owning one vicariously through you right now:-)

lol, just kidding. It is, without question, the most impressive boat I have ever seen by far. At short line, I don't notice a big difference with the wake, but with friends skiing 15off and slower speeds, this boat will ruin them for anything else. There is just nothing there! Virtually no wake, no bump, no spray, etc. Don't have a clue how they did it. Even at short line, it is better, but I don't really have a problem with any of the boats out there.

Prop's and top speed:
Mine has the latest prop. I spoke with someone that skied with Chet one day when they tested this prop and another one that turned lower RPM's. They each ran a set with each prop. It was unanimous that the current prop is better for slalom even though it turns higher RPM's. I have only skied with this prop so have no direct opinion. Top speed is 40mph. The other prop turns apx 300 less RPM's so I assume it has a higher top speed. Acceleration is more than anyone would ever need. Stronger than the other big two.

Pro's:
No wake
No spray
Saddle bags are friggin sweet!!!
Tons of storage
View when driving is incredible!
Interior materials are 2nd to none
I'm biased, but I think my color scheme is beautiful
Did I mention the saddle bags??

Con's
I would prefer real teak platform
Gas fill is in the center, but almost out of reach unless you climb onto the platform
Mirror would work better if it was slightly to the left, but the open bow door is in the way
I'd love to see Zero Off integrated into the glass display

Very minor Con's compared to how unbelievable this boat is. I'm going to be very tempted to just keep this boat.

Now for the hard question. Is it worth the extra price?? I'll say this.... having owned several 196's and now the 200, I can see the price difference. It simply is a more refined and a considerable step up (which is really saying something). Everything on this boat was improved. All the way down to the latches that hold the rear seat and the jump seat down. It's amazing the level of detail they went to. I must not be the only one that agrees. They have sold out of 2010 200's. If you want one, you will have to wait til 2011 or buy a used one (like mine!!!) ;-)

I would bet money that that will happen either next year or the following year.

Take a look at the dash of my 210 next time you're out there. You'll notice NO ZERO OFF gauge. That's because it is already built into the LINC system for the wakeboard boats. And the integration is sweet...

ZO is in a comfortable location on mine, but will be difficult to read the buoy times during a tournament.

I agree on the mirror. The standard mirror is a little too low when the boat is not on plane for me (no problem when on plane). The optional mirror has an extension arm that raises it a few inches and makes all the difference in the world. I also agree that everything about the boat is refined and especially the part about the slower speed skiers .... they will be amazed. I finally picked mine up on Friday and got to try it out last weekend.

how is the linc system treating you? i think that boat looks very classic even though it's brand new. it's like a modified classic car
