Haven't tried again. I'm sure with the hydrogate in trick mode, it would inch over 40.

how is the linc system treating you? i think that boat looks very classic even though it's brand new. it's like a modified classic car

The Linc is an awesome platform. Does quite a bit already, but it gives them a ton of room to add stuff.

I wonder if I can put my ZO into 3-event mode... I know I could in my 230 because I did it, but not sure on the LINC system if it is possible or not. I bet it is though.

Mine has the basic ZO built into the LINC. Just not the tournament mode. See if you can map a course and select the different settings (A1, A2, etc).

Hey guys, I just picked up my 200 yesterday. I was doing a bunch of searching to find the top speed with the 343 hp engine as I barefoot. This thread was was the closest I found so I figured that I should add my data. With the hydrogate in trick mode (up) mine will run about 42.5 mph.

I'm ducking as I write this to avoid being hit by thrown projectiles, but it smells to me like these boats are ready for a two-speed tranny. I don't need 70 mph, but a solid 50 on glassy water w/o being at WOT would be nice.

How about PCM using the guts of the old 2 speed powerglide for a new tranny.

I'd say with a prop change, 45mph would be attainable.

My tournament this past weekend. My ski buddies' in-laws skied. After one round behind my boat, they decided they wanted to sell their '06 Mastercraft 197 and buy my 200. Guess they were impressed!
