That is a very nice boat. Did yours come with the clarion oval remote? If so, did you make a custom plate for the round one you installed?

          onenautiqueone,

I've always wanted to separate the passenger seat like that, but wasn't sure it would stay closed. How does it work out? Can you still lift the base? I'm guessing you just have to remove it when you need to. Looks good!

Yes It did have the oval remote, you can order a round remote plate from nautique( it was for a 220). The seat base is now bolted to the floor and sub box, the upper part of the seat works perfect this way.

Thanks guys for all the props

The Chromax lettering looks awesome. Nice replacement for the standard AIR graphics.

Man that thing looks so sweet. Nice job, I especially like what you've done with the graphics on the sides. I just picked up an 05 SANTE 210 (ironically from BK there, hey Brian!!!), solid Canyon Mist under the rub rail with the white stripe, and have been contemplating pulling the AIR graphics and updating them with something.

How tough was it to pull those decals off the sides, how did you go about doing it? Can you tell me if there was any coloration differences between the exposed gelcoat and the gelcoat that was covered by the AIR? If so, were you able to fade in the different shades? Also where did you get your new decals from? Where are you going to be boating at? I'm in NORCAL too, probably be out at Berryessa 95% of the time.

Brian, how's that 230 treating you buddy? I'm stuck in Texas for the next 2 1/2 weeks for training, but I did get her out the 2 previous weekends to me coming out here, can't wait to get home!!!

Sorry for the thread hi-jack...The 230 is awesome. It's only two feet bigger, but it handles like a completely different boat, plus the prop spins in the opposite direction so that will take some getting used to.

I had it out two weekends ago but I was so scatter brained when I left the house, I forgot the camera so no new pictures. We're heading out for Spring Break a week from Friday. We'll be at the River for nine days. I can hardly wait to put some hours on the new boat.

Happy to hear you've been using the 210. Those 2 1/2 weeks you're in Texas will seem like an eternity while you wait to get home to your new toy. Have you been riding yet or is the water still too cold? I saw in one of your other posts you bought a few boards and a wake-surf board. Looks like you have your toys for your toy.
