        Cornut, that's awesome !!

It is a Spinal Tap reference. Their amplifiers go to eleven, everyone else's only go to 10.

I read the HP rating somewhere a few years ago. I obviously choose to go by the higher number. Why wouldn't I? I will see if I can dig up the reference.

These definately go to 11. My neighbor got a song played to him this afternoon when I fired it up in the driveway. Its pretty awesome coming through the dual 4".

I called this a project boat only because it could use an upgrade on the factory ballast and a new system. It really only needs a new seat skin and a good buff job. Its got 541 hours on it and the hull is in great shape. It is absolutely crack free and has one tiny little scuff in the the red gel. Its faded from hanging in a boat house on one side.

I do plan to change the tower color to black and re powder coat several other black items. I am going to go naked with no graphics and maybe tint the windows a little.

The stereo will definately be all wetsounds again. I am still not sure if I will do the under water LED again. Only because I am not sure how good red would look. Any ways I will post up some progress photos when I can......

Oh and if you google PCM Python torque curve there is a post on wakeworld that has the actual HP and torque numbers.

I like it a lot better with the red tower. Ive seen this same boat with black tower and just dont think it goes as well. But hey I guess I am biased as well.

              Seth,

The texas sun is not very forgiving and the red tower has faded to a pale pink. If I am going to powder coat it I am going black and will have them put a coat a clear over it too. The extra clear really makes it look glossy. Then add in the slightly tinted windows and a freshly powder coated windshield frame and I think it will look pretty good. I am in no hurry so I could change my mind. Do you have any pictures of your boat you can send me?

I am powder coating my tower blue with gloss this winter and really wanted to do the windshield frame too. Do know the process on getting it off.

Brad, if you get your windshield frame powdercoated and are impressed with the results, please let me know who does it and the cost. Mine could use a new powdercoat, and since I get my service done at Ski N Sport anyway, I figure whoever you use will not be too far away from me.

Yes, its not hard at all, but you will need to be surgical in your effort to be careful. There is a strip at the base of the frame that comes out. Some older boats have foam, but most newer boats have a rubber insert. Once you get the insert out there are approximately 10 screws per side that need to come out. Then just lift off the frame and begin disassembly of that. That is where you must be very carefull not to bust the glass. Label your parts and catalog your gaskets as reassembly will go much faster.

                      Brad,

I hear you on that. My boat was an Arizona boat previously and my tower is definately faded. Getting it repowdercoated is on my list of things to do. There is one pic in my profile, but I will send you some others. You can see what the tinted windows look like though. I dont even know what % it is because it came on the boat.
