    My 2004 Ski 206 Limited

I bought this boat in March of this year after owning a beautiful 1999 Ski Nautique I purchased in 2002. My first boat was a 1979 Ski Tique that I owned from 1990 until 1997. As long as I own a boat, it will be a NAUTIQUE!

Good Looking boat, I had a tough time deciding between a 206 and the Response LXi when I bought my boat. I sometimes have buyers remorse. I can't figure it out though. I know the Response has a slightly better slalom wake but its the whole picture that makes me wish I would have purchase the 206. They just look and feel so solid and well put together. My next boat will be a Nautique for sure.

By the way, my wife is a Ballinger out of Illinois.

Thanks for the comment. Not sure I know any Illinois Ballinger's. Still, you never know.
I used to slalom a lot, and can honestly say I have never skied behind a Response. I do, however, think they are a good quality boat. I learned how to ski behind a 84 Nautique, owned a 79 Ski Tique and a 99 Ski Nautique, and have always loved the performance. The only thing I have to compare to is Mastercraft, a very good boat, but never as solid as a Nautique. CorrectCraft makes one strong, solid boat.
Now, I mainly wakeboard and barefoot, as well as enjoy spending the day on the lake with the wife, kids, and friends. This is a great "all around" boat with just about everything I could possibly want.
It is funny . . . . I remember many years ago dreaming about the opportunity to own my own Ski Nautique, and now I have owned three. Life is good!
Good luck, and I hope you find a Nautique that fits your needs in the future. I believe you would be satisfied.
