    New Toy has arrived!!!!

Believe it or not, this will be our first boat. Go big or go home I suppose ;-) It's a 2011 SANTE 210. Board racks, speakers and bimini will go on before we pick it up on Friday. Can't begin to tell you how excited we are. Love the way the colors turned out. I was a little nervous going with green.

Awesome boat!!!! Being your first boat hopefully you know about power turning, but if not check out nopowerturns.com. I cringe every time I see a Nautique on the lake doing power turns.

Good call on no power turns. Definitely read over the manual too and follow break in procedure. You'll probably want to have your bow speakers wired to an amp instead of running off the head unit as well.

Yes, just because one owns a Nautique does not automatically make one not a bonehead. I have seen my share of bonehead nautique owners who drive like complete idiots. Common sense will get you 99% of the way.

                      Here is the rest.

                      1. When you are towing, drive in straight lines and do buttonhook turns so that when you come back you are driving the same line. You can keep a lake calm all day if you do this.

                      2. Do not surf or tube anywhere near people who are skiing, wakeboarding or wakeskating. They will cast many aspersions toward you if you do, and if you're in Texas, you might find yourself in a gun fight.

On holiday weekends, all rules are basically off, because the lakes will be shoulder to shoulder with idiots who do not know rules 1 and 2 (or have any common sense).

Good looking boat. Welcome to the family. My first boat was a Nautique too.

I really dig the new carpet. Looks awesome!!!

And practice up and get your ramp routine down. Don't sit on the ramp any longer than necessary due to loading / unloading gear into the boat or not knowing how to load or launch your boat.

If you need help with anything, I'm sure there's someone on here close to you that'll be glad to help.

Come on guys. It's the first boat I've owned, not the first boat I have ever been on!!! Give me a little credit ;-)

We are, but things get a little different when you're in the driver's seat as opposed to along for the ride. A lot of little nuiances that aren't appreciated until you're the one having to make the decisions.

                              Welcome to the family!
