Nice boat. I see thats the Maid of the loch in the background and your video shows you pulling out from the slip at Balloch.
Been up there many a time when I had my Mastercraft. Not been since I brought my 01 Super Air. Hopefully will do soon love it up there.

Hi STB, I never noticed that before....lol. He seemed to have them both on the way home so maybe he fished it out!! lol
Hyparks, yeah we have the boat at Cameron House now. I've been on the loch for over 20 years, but only 38 and in my second season of boarding. You look like we have the same spec as we have a GT40 engine version too!!
Where do you board then?

I used to ride at a local lake to me called Chasewater just outside of Cannock in the West Midlands. But its been empty for couple of years now due to repairs on the Dam. Now I ride at a lake in Tamworth called West midlands water ski centre also known as Ten80 wake & ski.
We used to go to the loch 1st week of June every year for a boating holiday. Used to stay at Lomond Woods holiday park.
Well overdue a visit.
Did you get your boat through Raymond at Scotland Nautique?

Hi mate, no we got it from Neil Mayles at Mayles Watersports. I've know him for over 20 years so got a fair dela inc a trade-in of a mariah we had. I don't know the guys at the Nautique place.
Got any upgrades planned? We seem to have eveything there is I think so I don't think anything other than a cover and maybe a better set of swivel racks. I think a fibreglass platform would be nicer but they don't seem to do any but there is one I've seen that I think will fit it, but not sure if I want to risk 300 quid for the gamble to be stuck with it!!
what colour scheme is yours?

Yeah I pretty much got everything too. Last season I was filling a centre fat sac manually so over winter I plumbed it into the ballast system so now fills and empties off the keypad.
Looking to upgrade the speakers etc and get some tower speakers and over next winter I want to have the interior re-trimmed. You running on petrol? Mines running lpg and petrol. 2 x 65 litre lpg tanks in the back. One either side of the engine. Helps with the ballast lol.

Like the sound of the middle fatsack autofilling and emptying....was that hard to do???
I think LPG is probably on the cards, but it all depends on how the costs look as I'd prefer to upgrade to a newer boat than shell out 2 grand on an LPG system. I'm not sure it would add much value as it's probably at the top of the level right now. It's only got 200hrs so we paid probably more than most out there cost. Upsides of that is wear and tear is good and setup is amazing.
I'll show you pictures and spec of our music setup if that helps you any.
Cheers

Not really. I cut the hose from the ballast pumps to the rear tanks and inserted a T piece. I then ran a hose from the T to the rear of my centre sac. I also put a shut off valve on the hose where it enters the sac so I can shut it off once full so no water escapes once the pump is switched off. The front end of the sac I have connected a hose to it and connected this to the thru hull that the glove box drain goes to. Never going to use the glove box as a cooler so thought I might as well make use of the thru hull.
Fills good, empties ok but quite slow but I'm not concerned about that to be honest.
Lots of people change the ballast system for newer pumps etc but I seem to have got mine working good so il keep the original pumps for now. I do intend on getting rid of the shut off valve on the centre sac and also the helm vent controls for the tanks. Looking at putting some 12v solenoid valves in their place instead so can operate it from the push of a button instead. Think that's a project for next winter though.
