    New guy - 2nd Nautique.

    Hi everyone.

Longtime lurker, first time poster. I thought I would share my latest purchase with you all

1999 Ski Nautique Closed Bow. 1002 hours. GT-40 engine. Not the biggest fan of the tower, but for the price, I couldn't turn it down.

Here are the photos the day I picked her up...

Overall the condition is great. Interior needs a bit of work. The few minor things that are bothering me are the throttle needs to be adjusted. It seems much looser than my 1990. The Perfect Pass needs to be calibrated, but should be fine after that.

Wow. I almost paid $5k for a 1983 SN. You got a good deal.

Thanks, I thought it was a pretty good deal too. The guy was being forced to move for work, so he kept dropping the price in his ad, finally I just made an offer and picked her up.

Got a photo while out on the lake today. Had it almost a week, and have been on the water 4 days already... not too shabby.

Try around 4 times that! Who was the seller, Tony Soprano?! Congrats on the deal of a lifetime swim!

I'll give you $7k for it right now?!?

All I can say is wow! That's the best deal on a SN in history! You could actually swap your motor for a brand new Excal, add ZO, and still have less into it than it's worth.

That is precisely what I plan on doing when the motor blows.
