Salam Alaikum-
First time, long time. Nearly in club...
Family of 5 from Green Bay, WI now on our 2nd tour teaching in Riyadh, KSA. There is absolutely no water, though the Red Sea is a short flight away.
It is amazing how the technology changed from 2008, we bought the below over the internet. Between google voice (free phone), docusign (paperwork) and great people it all came together.
Before I go any further, have to give credit to Whitelake Marine. Townsend from the first time I called on the 210 was great to deal with, I had a sense of confidence from the start and called on many 210's in the 30k price range. He put together video's to help piece everything together for me + answered what seemed like 100 emails. Anyway, will not take delivery until we get home in June, but thus far the dealership has been patient, professional and after talking with Townsend/Dianne (owner) I felt confident buying a one owner boat that they represented.
I was a little leery at first, boat was on onlyinboards for a complete summer. The trailer is frumpy looking upon closer inspection, at least the fenders are but otherwise solid running condition. The boat appears to need a good bath, but having known its service history I am hoping to end up with a shiny 06 SANTE by mid-june. I wanted to post here and get feedback before, but after looking at the videos, hearing it run, seeing under everything...my gut says it just needs a complete detail.
Anyone have first hand knowledge?
Looking forward to the Nautique experience. I restored a 94 PS 205 which I loved and spent the last years in a relatives X10. I didn't want to give up ALL the race car handling of the 205 (X10 was a tub) but I have a family now and see advantages of space. We have smaller inland lakes, but I wanted a big wake. It has been 3 years since I was doing any wakesports but I am exited to start again...surfing in particular. More for my young family and not so much wakeboard friends.
So as you can see, I have rolled the dice...
