Yes, I drove out to TN to pick it up. Billy is a great guy! How do you know him?

Hope you have a warm garage to put that in (unless you are going to re-winterize it). We still have plenty of cold nights left. Which engine did you get?

I met Billy through a friend of mine. I knew he was an ex-CC dealer and still was taking in some trades/consignments towards his new line of boats. I enjoyed talking with him, really knows his stuff about wakeboats.
What elevation will you be doing most of your riding? With that Excal in the 230, you'll want to make sure you have it propped well...

BTW, awesome road trip to pick up a boat! I didn't think anybody else would be as crazy as me to consider that kind of ride to pick up a boat!

About the trip-

It was a long trip for sure. To add to the trip, I was 103 miles away from the boat and I hit a huge pot hole with my truck. It ripped the tire and wheel off by the ball joints and messed up a bunch of stuff. The picture of the truck next to the wall is where I got the truck to stop. I didn't pull it over, Just lucked out that I didn't hit the wall. I ended up getting it towed to Billy's shop where I bought the boat. He fixed the suspension for me so I could at least get it home. Great guy!

I learned a valuable lesson. Next time I buy a boat out of state I will be sure to ship it!

Most of my boating will be at 4500 FT. I haven't had a chance to load the boat up yet to see how it will do with the extra weight I have for it. What prop would you suggest I go with? I am not sure what prop is currently on the boat but I am guessing by the lower top speed it has a different prop then a standard prop. Not sure how to tell what prop I have on there now.
