    Short Little Outting

Last night one of our customers was out surfing his 13 G23 with ballast (waiting on NSS). I needed an excuse to put mine on the water and test all of the maintinance items I have worked with and tow the trailer on a little trip to test all the new pieces. It was about 72 degrees with calm waters. They had about 6 people in the G and were boarding and surfing in dry suits. Water temp was 50ish.

    Sweet Instagram filter action haha.

No Quinner . Captain stupid pants cut it off flush with the pylon and beat a fly hi down on it so hard I couldn't get it off for a while. My buddy machined that and the surface was kinda rough so I used a mastercraft idea and cut that piece of PVC pipe and snapped it over to prevent it from eating up ropes. The piece was supposed to be machined from stainless but some how he grabbed cold rolled steel and it started to rust so I had to paint it. We have a machine shop that makes a really nice replacement piece like the mid 87- ball from aluminum. I plan to replace it this summer because that one is starting to look ugly.

Wasn't my truck produced before Fiat ? I Don't remeber what year they bought out. 2010 model probably produced in 2009? 3.92 sure grip rear. 2wd ramp pull outs all day!

I got a lot of dirty looks from fishermen last night when I was pulling the boat out at the ramp. They were all taking 3 or 4 attempts at backing trailers down the ramp. I backed in in one fluid motion, hopped in the boat, loaded, got in the truck and pulled out in less than two minutes alone. Everyone else had 2 to 3 people loading.

We watersports enthusiests are a different breed when it comes to boat ramps . It's always fun to sit back and watch the ramp with a cold beer.

Seems like in pic two the G boat is pretty close to the shore for surfing ???? At least on my lake it is.

The wave makes it look close for some reason. Rob was about 400 feet out.

Hey Zach you may want to check out Clinton Lake . Its not far from Indy and with the Nuke plant the water will be in the 80s.

around here, the fishermen AND the inboard peeps put on a show at the ramp. It's the I/O's and O's that hog the ramp time. Most of the fishermen around here have it down to a science.
