Congrats! You gotta give more info, engine, options, etc...

Btw, which engine in your Durango? How long a tow, and what kind of MPG towing? How'd the D handle while towing that beast?

It was a 9 hours, 500 miles each way, we picked it up at Lake George NY. Durango has the 6cyl.

The Durango did a great job towing our previous boat '06 211, got 14 mpg towing that boat up. It worked a little harder with the 230, but still got 12 mpg running 65 mph. It gets 24 MPG not towing

          Team Edition
          6.0 Liter 409 HP
          Transom Stereo remote
          Tower Speakers
          Bow Walk Thru Filler Cushion
          Full Throttle Package
          Heater w/ Defrost
          Mooring Cover
          Pop Up Pylon
          Bench Seat Removable
          Sun Pad Filler
          Walk Thru Door

I couldn't deal with the red trailer so we had the dealer order the new white boatmate trailer

Awesome looking boat! What was the original owner thinking with that red trailer? Looks great on your white one.

what engine does your durango have in it to get 12 mpg towing that 230? my silverado z-71 only gets 9-10.

Nice boat, my riding buddy picked up a very similarly colored '12 230.
On the Durango, we (my wife, she sometimes let me drive it!) have the hemi V8, and it's an awesome vehicle, just wished it got a little better MPG's. It pulls our '08 230 no problem, we don't tow very much, but will do a little bit this summer...Your Durango V6 got better MPG than my buddy's Toyota Tundra by a LOT!

Another ? on your D, is it AWD?

Our Durango has the290 HP V/6. It is AWD. We looked at the Hemi, and drove both. But, my wife drives this 45 miles (90 Miles round trip) per day to work, so we opted for the better fuel Milleage and even with the V/6 it tows about as well as our 5.4L Expedition did. Except the Expedition got about 16 MPG during the week for her. It would ne nice if the Durango had a little more torque but it gets the job done. I would rather put the extra gas in the boat.

This boat is a new 2011, we are the first owners. I really think that red trailer the dealer set the boat on caused it not to sell. I know it took me a few moths to call about it because of the trailer

I still 2011 is my favorite year for the 210/230s. The dash is so perfect in those! Having LINC and gauges is awesome. You will enjoy that boat 230 throws a monster wake.
