Last ride of the season h

Thank goodness for Alabama, October weather. Got to take the kids out one last time for fall break before winterizing the boat. Purchased this boat from Seachicken in the spring and we have loved every minute we have spent in it.

Went out yesterday and the water was 68. Couldn't get the kids to go with me, so you are blessed. I'm holding out for a Thanksgiving run and then will put it up.

We were lucky. The water temp on lake Martin was 77.5.

Went to Saguaro lake Sat. and according to the temp gauge it was just in the 90's in the air and mid to upper 70's in the water. Bit chilly, will have to break out the wetsuits soon. Probably won't have to get into the drysuit this side of our 6-8 week winter break since the boat is going in for warranty work mid Nov. and that will probably wrap up this season.

Today was a great day for surfing in DFW but the winds kept us from boarding!!!

77 degree air temp and 64 degree water. A shorty worked perfectly.
