    RE: Lake Shasta 211

This picture was taken at Lake Shasta day before yesterday at 8am (6/12/05), with just a little fog over the water. It was definately a Kodak moment, I just wish I had that Nikon D70 that I have been dreaming about. The bimini is actually the same color as the stripe on the boat, it's just covered with dew.

Note the water level in the background. The lake is completely full, only 3' down from the highest water line. Most of the small bridges are just a few feet above the water, some are not even passable by boat. The water was on it's way down, it fell just over a foot over the weekend while I was there.

        Very nice picture.

Where did you guys stay? I've got a houseboat rented for a week in late July but I'm looking for a house to rent later in the summer.

        Thanks Matt

            • close enough to the lake to be able to run in and grab a beer, but far enough not to pay the taxes!!

the only thing that would make that picture look better is my name on the title of the boat!!!!

We were in a cove directly across from the Antlers launch ramp. The lake is so high it's like a different place so don't count on your normal skiing spots being normal.

                      Great shot!
I love the mist coming off the calm water, the dew on the windows and bimini, and the reflection of your classy 211!

The best picture of a SAN or any boat for that matter. Nice job. It's my screensaver untill I can get a pic as good on my boat this summer.

Really sweet looking boat and nice job with the photo shot. I'd get it digitized and play with the lighting, etc.

What bimini is that on the boat? I'm starting to search for a replacement to the one I got and was just curious.
