Great looking boat - I test drove that one and tried to help Chessie sell it last year on this website. The puzzle is all coming tohgether as your uncle told me that you bought it. If you come up and visit your unlce, please stop in an see us.
We test drove this boat at Chessie a while ago, but we were not looking to upgrade at the time. Plus, I was not too into the red color. But now, I love it!
People used to come up to me ask how old the brown Ski Nautique was...and then they would ask about the Sky Ski sitting up side down in the boat. Now people comment about how nice the red looks (and then they ask about the Sky Ski sitting up side down in the boat)!
The wife likes the red, I just hope she likes waxing!!!
Very nice color combo! Based on the title of the pic I assume that it is an '03.
Were you able to keep the '79?
Welcome to the site, the admin's are great and you will find that the members are very knowledgable (present company excluded this is only my 2nd year with my nauti
Just about any question can and has been answered. We look forward to hearing about some of your experiences.
BTW -- I can't resist -- Do you have any pictures of the Sky Ski Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Not sure what order they will appear...but one is a pic after a day of boating and the wind picking up a little bit. Sky Ski is behind the drivers seat upside down. (Don't mind the jetski in the background).
The second is a picture of the name plate that was over the air intake and horns on my 79 Nautique. I have never seen another one like this. Most of the older Nautiques have a plate with several small wooden teak strips. Then CC moved the air intakes were moved below the windshield frame.
Nice! I'm guessing that you re-painted the old Nautique, right??? And the colored hull on the 206 looks awesome! Colored hulls always look nicer than white...
Also nice to see another skyskier. Does your skyski fall over when you turn in that position? I used to keep mine like that but the foil would fall into the tower, so now I put my skyski in the same spot, but just rest it on its seat and foil, and then wrap a bunjee through the footstays from the tower to the pylon. That seems to keep it from budging.
Again, nice rides and ski!
