I hear it calling the termites too. I'd check out the " some woodwork required" comment. Some may include the whole bottom or transom. Good luck

If anything, the trailer will last a while.

Beautiful boat. They are lots of fun, but lots of work as well.
If you're really looking for a classic, Sierra Boat Company in Lake Tahoe
is a great resource on the West Coast, particularly for restorations. I've read about some great shops in the East but don't know any personally.

2 weeks ago was the in the water wooden boat show in Tahoe. Over
100 classic boats including Chris Craft, Hacker, Gar Woods, Century, Riva, Besotas, Philbrick, and others. Best part is when they fire
the boats up at the end of the show and head out across the lake.
For some great pics, see sierraboat.com.

Thanks BKH, I'll check them out. Being from the East, I frequent the classic show on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH.

I was only half kidding about this particular boat, and only showed it because of the SN trailer. However, a CC racing runabout is a cool looking boat if I was ever to get a wooden boat would be high on the list. THis one is way under market price, so Rick is probably right about the needed work.
