Looks nice, but I was on a Chris Craft - the 36 Roamer - at one of the boat shows and the cabin had a wood floor - I assumed it was teak - that looked just like this... They made everyone remove their shoes and, with socks on, the floor was very slippery... I remember thinking that floor would be slippery with wet feet too.
The shine on this floor looks like mirror! I would think this would be slippery with wet feet.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. While I like the idea of people pushing the envelope on customizing their boats, I think that this one misses. It doesn't seem to blend very well. You have a "sporty" look with the tower and the stripes in the interior, and "old school" with the teak. The dash doesn't fit with the teak very well either. Perhaps in a ski, with a solid interior? The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

Looks great but i agree with gotwake - wrong boat. Besides, I'm already wiping down the outside and the cushions - even between the cracks. I don't want to swab the deck too!
I liked it on the Paragon but that boat had wood deck too. In general, I think food floors should stick to those boats that don't get too wet inside, like yachts.

My Paragon had the teak floors, it looked great and was very easy to maintain, freshly oiled with bare feet was fine, slippery w/socks, it did not get too hot in the sun either. No doubt w/the other wood on the boat the look was great.

Quinner....got any more pics of that boat? That is very very sharp....
About the other boat...I thought that teak was used because it isn't too slippery when wet (if finished correctly) and it doesn't get too hot??? But, I might be mistaken.88 Ski Nautique

Quinner, Very nice looking boat. Thanks for posting. Looks like the Paragon had less varnish and therefore looks less slipery and hot. Just an interesting note: even the wood boats of the 60's had chrome windshield frames. The Paragon's wood frame gives it a 50's look.

Do you know who's boat it is? I begining to think it might look pretty good in my 216. I think the vertical lines of the wood may look better in a symetrical layout.
Anybody have any ideas where I could get this done in the northeast?
