Just thought I would post a picture of our Nautique with its new morring cover installed. We had it custom made to cover the entire boat so to keep it looking new. The guy who made it was amazing and did a fantastic job. There were a lot of compound curves to deal with and he made them all look to easy... Just thought I would share incase someone else needed some ideas on how to make theirs.

Oh, it's a SV-211 under it without the tower and platform installed...

2WIN, just curious why you chose to post pictures of your cover in a thread that is related to the 2001 Air Nautique shown above?? Seems like you may have wanted to post this in the General Nautique Discussion, just my guess??

2WIN, great cover! Just curious what he made that out of...kinda looks like nylon from the pictures, but figured it was something more weatherproof than that. Also, what does something like that run?

Wouldn't that cover scratch the hull when towing? I try not to tow with my cover unless the weather is bad.

That material is Sunbrella and matches the Bimini exactly. I believe it is Captain navy blue...

This is only a storage cover. It wasn't intended to be used for towing.

I had the guy use a soft felt like material on the back side to keep it from scratching the gelcoat and window frame.

We also have a custom tonneau cover made that wraps around ALL of the upper gelcoat and snaps right above the rub rail.

All the covers cost us... Are you sitting down? around $2,800.00.

Sunbrella does last and is very water repellant.

He's got one of those lower bow stops that just make me cringe every time I see them. As someone on the board mentioned earlier, it looks like that thing would carve a nasty gash into the hull if you didn't have the boat exactly lined up coming onto the trailer. There must be something I'm missing with regards to that thing in that it must not be as bad as it looks.

As far as a storage cover for outside use, that cover is outstanding. You sure won't see much gelcoat fading with that cover, and the sunbrella material should last a long time. Just hit it with the 303 that's made for sunbrella material every few months and it'll stay water resistant forever.

Not a problem unless you drop the trailer to far into the water...

I went in hard last spring when I put it in the river (current) to test it out when new and had no issues.

I've seen this boat out at oak-run, by far the nicest nautique on the lake!
