Which engine did you end up with? And how's the progress coming along?

It has the GT-40.

-I got the rear hatch actuator working. Somebody had put a 20 amp fuse in a 30 amp spot so that was an easy fix.
-The seller thought the Perfect Pass was broken but I figured out the paddle wheel just needs rebuilt so I have been using the RPM mode.
-Installed a new head unit and wired remote.
-Been trying to learn to surf behind it and realized I need to order a new prop to handle ballast at 5000ft above sea level.
-Had a starting issue at the boat ramp last weekend. After some trouble shooting I found that the fuel pump relay was acting up so I stole one off the truck. The boat ran without a hiccup after that.

Good deal! I just picked one very similar up for 17.5k Definitely a steal even if you have to put a little $ into it. Looks like a little wet sand and maybe some new vinyl would have that boat in like new condition.

Sounds like you got a steal too! Have any pics of yours? Mine definitely needs a wet sand and will eventually need the vinyl on the sundeck replaced. Just minor things besides that.
