Rented a house this weekend on Cedar Creek and a buddy brought his Drone with him. It got some cool shots of my boat.

The Lake was Pretty and the water was nice while we were there. My home lake is Whitney so there were some very distinct differences to me.
-I'm used to cliffs and almost zero boat houses. I think Whitney has less than 30-40 private boat houses on the entire lake. Cedar Creek there is a Boat House every 20 feet. Litterally. On the Majority of the Lake.
- Rocks versus sand. I'm used to a rocky bottom which sucks for bare-feet but it seems like whitney water was a lot clearer. Either way, I liked being able to wander around barefoot.
- Traffic on the water wasn't terrible but it was choppy most of saturday afternoon. Absolute butter sunday morning when everyone was aparently too hung over to ride.
- LIke any lake the neighborhoods are hit and miss but parts around cedar creek are rough. The house we stayed in was Big Pimpin (way out of our league) but I passed several dogs chained to cars on blocks surrounded by trash on the way in.
All in all it was a cool lake and completely different than what I'm accustomed to. I'd go back.

We have been to Whitney and really enjoyed it. I am a fan of deep rocky lakes. Lake Belton down around Temple/Belton is one of my favorites. We will have to check out Cedar Creek before the summer is over. Thanks for the info.
