2016 san 230

Finally posting some pictures up!
The boats only 6 weeks old now but we've been on it plenty (70 hours) and loving it! Have already started thinking about the upgrade to the G23 we've been enjoying the 230 so much! We're just hoping our Aussie dollar bounces back a bit!

This forums was an such an awesome source of information when we were going through the process of getting ready to order a boat!

We optioned a fair amount of things hopefully making it more attractive at sale to move up!

The new H6 engine is spectacular almost overkill in the 230!
Only the engine is costal just for the closed loop cooling!

Looking forward to spending a whole heap more time on the water.

Happy with the Z5 for the extra storage, not so happy with trying to get it to stay in position and not come loose though!

Beautiful boat I love the black hull. In the long term does black show more grime or is it just as easy to keep clean as a lighter color? Just curious.

Happy with the Z5 for the extra storage, not so happy with trying to get it to stay in position and not come loose though!

I had the same problem with it staying in place on my 2010 230. It kept sliding down on the tower and I kept making small adjustments to it. I finally downloaded their install instructions and when I got it balanced between the front and back elevations, front being one inch lower on my model, it finally settled in.

We did leave the boat in a saltwater river that doesn't have the cleanest water and it did get a water line on it but cleaned of no problems with a bit of Hull Cleaner, the other white hull boat with us ended up with brown from the water down. The hull does show little marks and stuff more though I think along with the interior deck colour, only takes little bit to leave a small mark here and there that will buff out, but can see some reasoning for white hull bottoms and decks! But in the end the colours are worth it!
