Thanks guys! She's turning out awesome. A lot easier to clean up than my old Moomba. I finished up the compound and polish today for the whole boat. Lost my sun light so I'll wash and wax tomorrow then start digging into the interior a bit more.

Not sure how bad your carpet is, but I picked up some "Mean Green" cleaning stuff from dollar general and scrubbed that into the carpets with a brush and then power washed with hot water. Worked like a charm! It's cheap too so I usually buy it by the gallon and use it heavily.
Also can't exactly tell what shape your cover is in, but if you are in need of a new one, I got mine from iBoats.com and it's the Westland Custom fit cover. I love the cover and it fits very tight around the boat and tower.
My factory perfect pass in my 01 SAN had been updated to the stargazer system before I bought it. I love stargazer, no more relying on anything in the water. All GPS.
I've heard horror stories about the keypads going bad at the most inconvenient times possible. Some people have rewired there's to work on a separate push button if there keypad ever fails. You may want to do some reading on that just to familiarize yourself with that topic.
Looks like you picked yourself up a great boat for an amazing price! A little bit of elbow grease and you'll have yourself a gem!

Thanks for all the input on the boat! I am fortunate that the keypad just got replaced, so it should last a good while. That and I take "anal level of care" of my boats! I want to give your carpet cleaning idea a shot, sounds like it will get me through until I sea dek it, sometime in the distant future. But all in all carpet isn't horrible, buts it's original so very flat and a bit off color.

I have managed to get all of the seats with the exception of the bow at about 99% looking new. Really hasn't been too bad, just time consuming. Still need to put some more work on all the bow seats.

How hard is it to replace the factory speed control with the PP star gazer. Is it a complete system swap? Or do I just stick on the GPS pick run it to the current control module and swap out the gauge after disconnecting one pitot tube?

One last thing, how much was the cover? Been shopping for them and they are very pricey! The one I have isn't horrible, but not great either. Really like to have something that protects all my hard work!

Thanks again for all your help, really appreciate it.

Wow what a great deal on your boat and great job cleaning her up! I am assuming you have the factory Perfect Pass which means you will only have a 1 line display on your gauge? If that is the case you will need to get a new multi-line display and the puck to upgrade to Stargazer. You will be able to reuse the rest of your system I believe.

Got the waxing all done today! Turned out amazing. Really looking like a brand new boat.

I will try and get some shots of how well the interior is cleaning up!

Awesome, I bought domed numbers for mine last year. Did you use your 10% discount they offer for PN members????

Yeah I ran the Chromax on my Moomba. Looked really sharp, still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do for the style I want for my hull decals.

Any ideas are welcome, just know that I'm not rich!

I actually sent a request to domed numbers to see if they could make me to gold air hull graphic on our year as it is no longer available in gold. Waiting to hear back!

Curious what your using inside storage compartments - my 230 just came out of storage & I'm bummed about the moldy carpet inside the store lockers. Any suggestions? Simple green?

I cleaned our 03 with Lysol the let dry and then dropped those silica bags from academy in there about every 3 or 4 weeks and never had another issue

Hey sorry for the delayed reply...Haven't been on here for quite some time! As far as the stargazer goes, I couldn't answer that question because it was done before I bought it, but I know there has got to be forums on this site that go through step by step on what needs to be done.

As for the boat cover I will link the one I have. I have the Sharkskin Plus cover that fits around the tower and also covers the platform.
