After 9 years of using my Nautique only a hand full of times and a full 5-6 yr dry storage, i moved back to where i call home - Upstate SC. Got the boat running after a rather lengthy process of compounding and polishing for the 1st time in my 20yr ownership, new steering cable, water pump, and a new carburetor. Took the boat to Lake Jocassee in Salem, SC for its 1st run with all the new parts and had the best time in a LONG time with a couple of old friends.

    Here she is:

Nice boat! And to the guy riding the foil, nice job!! But why the stock air chair foils? if you are that good with stock front & rear foils, you would be considerably better on say the Phoenix front foil, and the UFO rear foil. Enjoy the lake with that Ski Nautique.

Thanks, That's me riding the SkySki for the 1st time behind my boat in 7-8 yrs. I just turned 49 and would definitely be all over a longer strut and high performance foil design in my earlier days but a bum shoulder had me questioning what seemed so natural as you see in the picture. Riding the SkySki was like riding a bike, you don't forget how to do it and I just couldn't resist popping some good air. Great fun running the boat and riding the SkySki after both sitting idle for such a long time.

Nice boat, great pics! And love seeing some foiling too. Only done it a few times, but will buy one as soon as I have the funds.

Awesome boat. 86 is my favorite year for the older boats. Just brings back memories that will never be forgotten. Oh the sites and sounds of a 1986 2001 !!! Still thinking of trying to add a Silver to my garage.....but haven't found the right one. Only 82 chances to find it......lol
