New to us 03 SANTE

Hi Everyone,

A few weeks ago we drove to IN to pick up our new 03 SANTE. So far loving the boat! We are coming from an 88 Mastercraft TriStar that received a lot of love, so looking forward to all of the things I will do to this one.

Transom remote on order, and planning to get the interior looking new in the next few weeks. It is in REALLY good shape, but has some black mold dots and a little dirty. Only have a few photos so far.

I am in Nashville, so I have to say they are Predators colors!

I have a question on the flight clips bungees. How tight should the board be in there? Mine moved around last week, so not sure if I need to replace them.

Not sure as my SS doesn't have a tower but I'd have to imagine you don't want them moving too much so they would get scratched up or dinged up. Of course, a "little" movement I'm sure is fine.

Nice shop dude, jelly of that overhead room. Just picked up an 03 myself a few months back, we also had some mildew/dingy spots on the seats. I used star brite vinyl polish/cleaner with a magic eraser followed by some 303 and they were good as new.

As for the bungees, I noted one pair to be shorter than the other, so I used them accordingly. Also I cross them up in an "X" rather than just straight across, which helps too. Someone just posted in the maintenance section about cheap replacement parts from HD that seemed to work pretty good.

They should lock in to here pretty good. I would order new bungees. They are cheap. Nautique parts or buxton marine can help you .

Nice boat! Congrats dhanni. I posted a bungee replacement not too long ago that J-rob is referring to. Still working great and locks the boards in nice and tight. Search bungee replacement and you should find it. Pretty darn quick and cheap too.

Thanks everyone! I will be looking into that shortly. I think crossing them may work well. The shop is my father in laws, he graciously allows his to put it in the corner. I had this and the Mastercraft in there at the time haha. 40x40 barn with lift as well.
