Was real hard to keep it on line. No idea how it would pull thru a slalom course without running over buoys, or how it would stay straight with an advanced skier pulling really hard. Maybe it needs another tracking fin or two.
I was really kind of surprised by this since the boat is designed to be a skied behind. I rarely ever ski anymore and I haven't pulled a skier in 10 years, but I could tell that the boat didn't track as well as my 210 when waves come at the boat from the side. The GS20 rides SO much better in rough water than my 210 did that I can overlook the inferior tracking.

The boat has a really solid ride in chop. It feels much more solid and less harsh in rough water than my old boat (2011 210). So far I really like the boat, but I do have some small negatives to mention. 1. It doesn't seem to track as well as my 210 did with waves coming in to the side of the boat. This may be because it only has one tracking fin as opposed to 3, but I'm not sure. .

Turn the Ski Assist off, it will track much better, but the wash will be slightly bigger.
Ski Assist pushes the bow down, hence a smaller wash. It is really there for the guys who want to run the slalom course.

I plan to ski behind it this coming weekend, and will report back.

I'm kind of disappointed at these review as well. Had hoped the tracking would be that of a ski boat, or close. And I'm surprised the tactory surf wave isn't better too.

ID:	522274 I posted these pics on another thread but I'm sure liking the surf wave we are getting on ours. Here it is with three in the boat and stock ballast. I'm not sure why your disappointed in these reviews mentioned above. No disappointments here.

They are probably disappointed because of my posts. Not sure if the GS20 is capable of producing as good a wave as the GS22, . Unfortunately, I haven't gotten a chance to tune the wave too much on my GS20. I've only been out on it twice. The maiden voyage was just the wife and I. I did surf a little but couldn't let go of the rope. I didn't get to really tweak the wave on that trip because my wife is really overwhelmed by the Panoray and won't try to make any changes without asking me. So I didn't have time to try any tweaks to the wave from behind the boat.

The second time out we had 3 eight year olds and a 12 year old and they all wanted to tube. So I pulled the tube for a couple hours and by the time I got ready to wakeboard and wakesurf a little it started raining so we packed it in.

Hope I will get a chance to get it dialed in before the end of summer. It seems slow going at this point though. I need to find couple good crew members who like to wakeboard and surf because my wife and our 4 kids really have no desire to do either.

Picked up the New GS20 tonight. Only got to do a 15 minute lap before the sun went down. More impressions after this weekend's endeavor!

                        Lucky,

Thanks for the advice. This must be the ticket because another member spoke to the southeast sales rep for Nautique and he said the same thing. It's so counter intuitive to me. I figured with a small crew I needed more weight! Go figure.
