    Boat Stolen



    We had our brand new GS22 stolen from our driveway yesterday at 11am while my wife was in the house! Hadn't even had it on the water other than the water test at the dealership. It was stolen from our home near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The truck that pulled it away was a white Ford F-350 dually. Appears to be a fairly professional theft.

    If anyone sees it out there let me know. According to the dealer it is the only one with the colour scheme out there...please see the attached pics.

    Wow is that a kick in the nutz, sorry to hear this. Curious how insurance will work, had a car stolen and there was a 30 day wait before they paid me off, is your boat the same? Did you have an agreed value policy? Good luck

              Ha ha...yes...that is the old boat...2007 Air 216....for sale sign had to come off it for now.

                    That is my biggest nightmare. We keep our boat on the trailer next to our house. Aside from security cameras, I swing the tongue of the trailer and put a pad lock where the tongue shackle goes. Hope that is enough to deter a thief. Sorry for your loss and hope you are made while quickly from insurance.

                      Did they take the time to take the wheel covers off? Or were they shredded on the street.

                        My guess is they had a guy come ahead of the stolen truck and the wheel covers off so it was ready to go. It was seen a couple blocks away and they weren't on the tires and they didn't leave them in the driveway either.
