We owned a 03 SANTE about ten years ago but sold it due to new kid and money concerns. We forgot how much we missed boating until last fall, after spending a day on the water and surfing with friends. Kid is now old enough to enjoy it with us and we had the green to buy it outright. Search for a replacement was on.
Drove 4 hours north to look at a navy blue hull '01 Super Air. Met the owner at a boat ramp for a test drive only to find out that he had totally misrepresented the condition of his boat with his photos and conversations. We said "no thanks". As he was leaving, the previous owners of our new boat pulled into launch. We could see how clean and well kept it was from across the parking lot. We stuck up conversation and came to find out that his boat was also for sale. Picked it up a few days later and couldn't be happier.
2002 Team Edition. Love the color scheme. 354 hours on the original digital gauges, which still work! Ford GT with rotation for us goofy footers. 1578 Prop. JL audio all around. Eight 3 wake shaper. Everything we wanted, super clean and well kept.
We have about 25 hours on it so far this summer.
