Thanks for the comments...........
We have had the boat since March of 2003.......NO complaints whatsoever, M2O Marine in San Diego did a great job on the boat.
Trailer is all black trailrite galvanized trailer that has been double dipped in epoxy to match the boat, with 5 star aluminum rims that look sweet.
Tower speakers are Boss 530's and B60's with MB's
Cabin and bow speakers are MB's and I'm running a Crossfire DB Pro series 12" sub in a custom enclosure.
Seperate tower speaker control, seperate sub control, and I have an EQ to tweak out the sounds.
Clarion 6 disc stacker cut into the space in front of the drivers seat.
1 800 watt crossfire amp for the tower
1 800 watt crossfire amp for the cabin
1 600 watt dedicated sub amp
Amp board is mounted inside the observers hatch along the side gunnel, we took the rub rail out and screwed the amp board from the outside into the board and then epoxied the screws and put the rubrail back on. The amp board is covered in the same carpet color so it matches perfect.
All wired with monster cable and I'm using 80 amp fuses, the tower wires are ran thru the tower right thru the bottom of the tower mount. The ends all have banana clips for easy removal.
I took the ouside speakers and slightly angled them to the side and they all point slightly up so that at riding speeds the speakers are level with the riding characteristics of the boat.

Gramps...
Sweet looking boat. I like the stereo mods. I have a couple questions concerning your stereo. I am in the process of replacing the speakers inside the boat, replacing the sub, and adding amps to my tower speakers (2 Bose 151's), sub, and interior speakers. Any recomendations? What MB's do you have in your boat (interior)? Are they marine grade? Is that necessary? Obviously you chose MB over the Marine Clarion, why? What size amp do you recommend for my application? Thanks for any insight you might give!
