Inboards are amazing all-around boats, back platform is great for diving, and I mounted rod holders where the board racks go, set perfect pass and troll for mahi. Lash cooler to the back so all the mess stays outside. Pretty funny, actually.

Sounds great! Surfing, diving and fresh mahi!

Checking in from the Keys, hope everyone is having a great summer !!! Yesterday was blowing, so got the G out to the reef to dive for lobsters then trolled blue water and got a nice mackerel and couple tuna. So freaking awesome, hopefully this isn't sacrilege to the Nautique gods.

Can you show/tell us what you used to rig those rod holders to the tower? I'm totally going to do that!

Shamsra We do not use our board racks because they get caught on our boat lift, so used those mounting points for a simple aluminum adapter that you can pretty much tailor to any rod holder. Here are some pics, I have since sanded and polished them to a nice shine, very happy with end result. BTW, they are also EXCELLENT flag holders !!!

I bought https://www.railblaza.com/products/r...le-rod-holder/ ($12 on Amazon) because they look a bit nicer than the straight plastic tubes and are also fiberglass reinforced. I buy metal from www.onlinemetals.com, really cheap custom sizes, $10 shipping for a small order like this, way better than driving around looking for aluminum.
