dont' think so, unless he got a different trailer, and chopped the factory extended pylon.

No, It's not the Python.

It's a '98 with 120 hrs.

What is the Python, I looked at the pic good looking boat. Why does it have a extended pylon? Can someone fill me in?

Python is the big block engine option, and has the extended pylon due to the larger motor box.
