Looks sweet. I love the reef blue on my boats and it looks great on your build as well. I have the blue interior and it has been awesome. I felt like the white on my previous boat showed everything. The blue vinyl is a bit warmer in the direct sun but we just throw a towel down if needed.

Well, this boat was supposed to be in production starting on December 1, but it was delayed due to a backup at the factory. I am not sure if it is on the line now or not. I hope so, and I am trying to get an update tomorrow from Nautique.

The trailer is running late too. It is supposed to ship the week of December 14.

The original finish date for the boat was December 15. I don't think they're going to make that date, so the trailer delay isn't a big deal. I am still hoping to get the trailer on the 15th or 16th, and hopefully get the boat by the 18th. I'll take it to Roswell for the audio and lighting transformation, and then SeaDek will add the custom flooring. Should be all set after that!

Here's a sneak peek at the SeaDek pattern that's going in. Should look great I think!

Got an update from Nautique this morning. Sounds like it is on the line now, and is scheduled to finish on December 16.

Now if the trailer arrives on time, we'll be in good shape!

We had some people show up to stay in our guest house (which we rent out through Airbnb), and they arrived with a Bass Cat that is the same colors as the new PN G23. Crazy!

So are those trailers better than the boatmate trailers? Boatmate is what Croft Marine in Utah orders.
BTW those dual Paragons @ Croft where for one customer, he keeps them both at Lake Powell.

Boatmate trailers are the easiest for the Nautique dealers to order, because there is a place right on the Nautique order form to add the trailer if you want a Boatmate. That's why you see so many Nautique dealers using Boatmate trailers.

I have historically not been a fan of Boatmate trailers. I owned one that had many problems back in the day, and I have heard plenty of stories of others who owned them having issues as well. Everything from bunks falling off to brakes failing, to wheels falling off, to bunks being lined up to gouge gelcoat, tires being underrated for the load, even axles being underrated for the load, etc. They may be better now. I'm not sure. White Lake Marine, where my boats are ordered, does not order Boatmate trailers.

I loved Ram-Lin trailers, but they no longer make trailers for Nautiques. I used EZ Loader for a couple of years, but the lead time on their orders was getting too long, so White Lake stopped ordering from them as well. The trailers were good, but they just couldn't get them in a timely manner.

Phoenix has been around for a long time now, and is known to make a quality product. This one will be my first. Hopefully it'll be great! I'll let you know.

I have a 2013 Phoenix under my 95 SS,have been happy with it. Finish is fantastic on it. Couple of minor complaints though which might not apply with newer boats or maybe later trailers, 1- Bow roller gets hung up on steep ramps,sourced a Ramlin stop which solved that problem. 2- Back guides should be a further foot or two forward since a 95's last couple of feet angle in, have to be careful loading boat can shift, prop comes very close to sides of prop guard. 3- finally and this applies to all trailer manufactures- they need to step up and rust proof the inside rails of the box frames, it is after all 2020,no need for bare steel where water sits.

The Phoenix trailer came in yesterday, and I'll pick it up on Sunday and head down to Orlando to pick up the boat and take it to Roswell for the audio and lighting transformation. From there, it'll go to SeaDek for their work.

Here's the trailer shot that WLM sent over. I'll get some better ones tomorrow.

We had Phoenix go ahead and ship us the trailer, even though it is still missing some parts. The crank on the winch is the extra large size because they are currently waiting on more of the standard ones. With the XL crank, the front ladder can't be installed because the crank hits it. They'll ship the right crank once they have it, and I'll install the ladder then. I think the rear tie-downs are also missing, but they'll be sent once they have them.

This will be my first triple-axle trailer, and I am excited to see how much it reduces the tongue weight on my Excursion. Six wheels with electric brakes will be great too. I bet this thing will stop very well!

Do you use a weight distribution hitch?
Never Mind. Just got off the phone with Phoenix trailers and was told the hitch is not necessary.

No, I don't use one, especially now that I am running a triple axle trailer. The tongue weight with a triple is very low. A WDH wouldn't serve any purpose with a triple.

Here are some shots of the Phoenix trailer. It is missing the ladder, as noted above.

I towed it down to Florida yesterday unloaded, and it did great. I pulled it loaded with the boat for about 30 minutes today, and that was great too. Six wheels of electric brakes is NICE!
