    My 1st !!! 2008 SV211

Been a long time coming. I've wanted a nice Nautique for many many years. I've never been able to afford it (responsibly). I've been on the lake since I was a teenager and am an experienced boatman, but I've never had my own. 2 years ago changed my job and boom here we are. I am soooo stoked.

Would love to hear some feedback on this model (not TE) and any tips or tricks specific to this model?

    Thanks!

I really like mine. Does a lot of things well. Mine is a year older and the prop spins the opposite way since they upgraded the v drive that year. Congratulations

Fast351 we like to do everything pretty much. Already got the better half up on a wake board. Smiles all around. Thanks!

Couple of questions for you guys-

            1) The ballast tanks seem to drain themselves if i fill them early in the day and then cruise around. Is this something common?

            2) What wake-shaper works the best for this model?

            3) According to the prop selection tool on WakeMakers, an ACME 1433 is a good middle of the road (stock vs heavily weighted) option for a little easier hole shot. Agree? Disagree?

            Thanks everyone.

In regards to 1) yes they drain on their own. It's more annoying when they fill on their own. The one thing I did that definitely helps is once you pump the tanks full, turn the pumps on empty for a second to flip the impeller. This will block more of the water. Similarly, when empty, run in fill mode for a couple seconds.

As for prop, I used the factory and never had much of an issue, but then we rarely had more than 4-5 people in it. If you do prop for more hole shot just remember to watch the max RPMs if you're cruising around so you don't redline it.

Fast351 thanks I will try that!

Does anyone know if the SE has an auto-bilge function? Or is it ON / OFF only from the dash toggle switch? I am concerned about leaving it the water over night on let's say a camping trip or a delta run?

If there is not it would be easy enough to add one. Just a Power line from the battery to a switch to a float switch. Shouldn't be but a few hours work.
