    my new GS24

Picked up my 2021 GS24 3 weeks ago - due the CA fires have only been able to take the boat out 2x. At 7 hours got a warning that No 2 Cylinder Misfire so had to limp back to the dock in 105 degree weather - back at the dealership waiting to hear - hoping to have it back to get on the water this weekend to ride.

Sharp looking boat! I like the colors. Sorry to hear about the fires and your issues with new boat, hopefully all that will get sorted out soon.

Congratulations on your new boat. It looks great. Did you add any additional ballast? Please provide us some feedback/pics on the surf and wakeboard wave. Nautique apparently tweaked the hull in the 2021 GS models to improve the surf wave. I have a 2019 and have been pleased with the surf wave, but I'm still dialing it in. Other GS24 owners would appreciate any input from your experiences.

hi there - yes the boat has the extra ballast as the boart is pretty much fully loaded - i can't provide any info on the wake/wave yet. Day 2 (Labor Day Weekend) taking the boat out right when we got to "Union Point" at the CA Delta - filled ballasts - my son was ready to hop in the water and got an error on the screen that said "DTC 302: Cylinder 2 emission/catalyst damaging misfire" and the boat went into limp mode at 7 hours. Took 2 hours to get back to the dock and took it back to dealer service. Has been at the dealer and they are working with PCM to figure out what the issue was - spark plugs ok, replaced coils as they found knicks on the wires, added fuel additive as they think the gas was low quality (91 from Chevron). They were going to run it yesterday to see if they can replicate it - i just don't want to get it back and have it happen again as my wife will be pissed

Also the boat was riding high and steering was really heard like a surf tab was out on the right side so they are doing full diagnostics too -

Hoping to get it back in the water this weekend if the air quality (CA) improves - needless to say i'm pretty bummed as this is my first new boat but it looks kick *** on the trailer

Looks great. What are the colors? Is that Onyx Black and Jet Black Metal Flake? Or Anthracite Metal Flake? Looking at using some similar colors, but so hard to judge from the online design tool.

MBarker - finally got the boat back ended up changing the coil packs and alternator fried and it runs better than the day i brought it home - granted it all happened at 7 hours - we are good to go.

i took the boat out Friday filled all 3 ballasts set the Surf System to 4 and the wave was long and had a perfect curl. Played with the cruise between 11.3-11.7 to get the longest wave possible. I validated with a buddy who surfs alot and said that on the GS24 that he feels "4" is the best. I started at 1 and kept increasing until found the right setting. We only had 4 people in the boat, but this weekend going out again with another family so will add more weight and keep dialing it in.

I'll get pics while out this weekend -

Glad you got your boat back. Please do take some pics. Here is one from earlier this summer with full pro-ballast, 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and 4 kids.
