not sure this goes in the restoration area.... but ive been busy.... not sure how far ill take it but its cleaning up nice... someone sprayed this whole boat with some kind of clear goopy mess... some nasty chemicals removes the goo but about 8 passes wet sanding has really started to make it look like a boat again. I needs some stuff, transom handle, new plastic lenses for speedos, and some others... where should i post that?

saw your restoration project- fantastic! I have a few questions as i have a '95 ski 195 i am working on-
how did you remove the chrome stern handle? and how did you remove the lenses from your gauges? did you have to remove the entire dash? were you able to repaint the speedo needles?
thanks in advance

Nuts are on the inside to remove handle. Couldn’t leave it black, polished it up. Lenses are accessible when you remove the trim ring, can be done without removing gauge, be very very careful, plastic parts will be more brittle than glass. Even harder to drill the holes in the new watch glass. Order a dozen, you’ll break lots of them. I did repaint needles, nail polish!!
