Yeah....I'm curious too. A super weighted down G25....vs. a stock Paragon P25. Is the 100K difference night and day...or "Just a little" bit better wave and wake. Is it in the eye of the beholder....or is a pro gonna throw spit at a super weighted G25 and only go with the Paragon?? By the way....nice Paragon FOB1....on a super cool looking trailer. One of the cleanest combos i've seen.

Simply speaking to the performance of the boat, not the price. Maybe additional 1950 pounds under powered g25 was the difference? Maybe the weight distribution of the paragon is the difference? Maybe the weight of the sub in the back is the difference? Maybe the prop on the paragon was the difference? Maybe it’s not night day, but I didn’t think it would be any better, and it is. Trailer is a bit overboard. I never use it, boat is on a lift. Kinda wish I didn’t do that.
eye of the beholder. Definitely not pros.

Last fall we demo'd the G23 and the P23 and hands down the P23 wave was better (same hull), much better, not even close... I don't know if it was the engine, extra 1k pounds of stock dry weight, prop, whatever just like FOB1SAN but it really is bigger/better at least IMO. The price difference really is closer to $50-60k though after you add in the options you're going to want to the G, as most of them are standard on the P.

Thanks FOB1 and bird_dog........that seems to be reality with the Paragon vs the G. Good honest opinions on both boats. I know when the Paragon came out...it was and is still the talk of the town in the wave/wake department. I'm sure when my G23 comes in I'll be adding a little extra lead for sure. Would love to see the Paragon wave in person after surfing my G23. Maybe I'll catch you out at Canyon FOB and flag you down. Can't miss that awesome P25!!

Yeah man. Any time.
I just got back. I will say one huge difference to me, especially with beginner riders in my kids. She surfs port side. I can bank a right turn and go the other direction (away from the wave) and the wave stays SOLID and doesn’t get soft at all. It looks like it gets bigger. I made some turns today that would have washed her out normally, she didn’t have to squat or try to stay in the wave or anything. Just stood tall and away we went....
man I tons of lead bags if you want some. Tons. I’m not gonna use them. I’m gonna sell them cheap. $20 a bag. I think I paid $70 a bag. 50 pound bags. Swing by my dealership and pick them up if you want.

You are gonna love your G23. There is a pro rider at my marina. And that dude kills it with his G23. He told me he only adds 500 pounds I think. He does flips and stuff.... pretty amazing.
