    I see what you are saying.

    Do you put a bag up front at all? That will also help move the pocket back. Also what I tell inexperienced drivers is that when I fall to ease off the throttle and then just reverse and I will paddle to them.

    Here is how I set up my nauti for surfing. Check it out and see what you think.

    I fill the belly and the starbooard tanks. Then I put a bag on top of the starboard tank, one on the starboard side in the nose, one on the floor behind the driver, and then one layed over the seat and bag behind the driver. If it is only me and maybe 2 other people, I find a way to prop another bag on that side.

    Obviously like this the boat handles horribly, but the surf wave is unreal so it is worth it to me.

    The picture of the wave isn't the best because it doesn't even show the bottom, but you can see how far back you can go.
