Picked up my new 2022 G23

It has been a long wait but I finally picked up my new G23! It is pretty much loaded but we opted to not go with the telescoping tower. A few things stood out. The supplemental ballast is great and the studio elite sound package is phenomenal! We had three people aboard and with the supplemental ballast the wake was massive. I would also like to credit the team at Watercraft Sales - they are excellent.

Although the weather was cold in the north-woods I was able to get almost 7 hours of break in completed. My son braved the 59 degree water and did a short set. The Wake is HUGE compared to our 2015 G21! Looking forward to the holiday weekend!

I just thought I would follow up on our New G now that we have over 70 hours on it.

          The good:
          - Wake with supplemental ballast is phenomenal! We morning surf with just 2 people and the wake is almost hip high on me and I'm 6'1". With our normal 5, the wake is huge!
          - Fit/finish is second to none
          - Studio Elite sound is mind blowing. The sound quality at speed is amazing
          - Master Blue metal flake explodes in the sun
          - HUGE fan of the thruster, major time saver picking up downed surfer. The G23 is a pig with 7+ passengers and full tanks, the thruster spins it right around.
          - Have ZZ6 engine. Had 9 people and all tanks full and there was plenty of power!

          The not so good:
          - GPS failed after 28 hours. The Team at Watercraft Sales determined there is an issue with the GPS head unit from Nautique. They had a work around and had us back in the water within 2 hours. It is still not completely resolved but the GPS is working.
          - We've had a few glitches with tanking up/down. LINC Panory showed port supplemental tank empty but was full. Port main ballast didn't fill when display showed full. The fix that seemed to work (other than a power cycle) was tank opposite for what we trying to do. For the supplemental tank that didn't empty, we just added more water for a few seconds and then switched to empty and that took care of the issue. Same with main port tank on filling.

Hope this helps anyone interested in a new G23.

Can't wait to get back out there!
