Does anyone know what the diameter of the 2004 tower is? I measured the circumference at exactly 6" ...which would be perfectly between 1 7/8" and 2" clamps.

Need to order a mirror and don't want to get the wrong clamp size.

      6"/pi = 1.910", which is darn close to 1 7/8" (1.875"). My '07 is 1 7/8".

lfadam Here are photos of mine with a cloth tape and a caliper. I'd say 1 7/8" is what you have.

Beautiful boat man, love the seadek and surf tabs. I wasted money on upgrading my HU and remote and ended up running an eq for volume and zone control between in boat and tower speakers as the buttons on remote took way too long to raise and lower volume. Need to figure out a better sub box placement to get some storage back lol

Good to know. I did find a site with the Clarion remote replacement. Would love to have that working but to your point, an EQ with knobs is far superior anyway. I wonder if it would be possible to find a small EQ that could fit in that space with some fabrication skills...

My head unit is a little wonky...I can only turn the volume up, not down which is annoying. So considering replacing it, especially if I don't need to worry about Clarion remote compatibility (if I put an EQ there instead). For the sub, I'm hoping I can build a custom fiberglass box on the back of the kick plate in the off season. I agree—can't sacrifice any storage on this boat!

I have the hu and remote I took out, you can have it if you want it.

I’m torn between the kick panel or building a seat box behind the drivers seat. I’ll post pics when I start working on it

Awesome, looking forward to seeing the pics.

And you're referring to the oval shaped in-dash stereo remote? Would love to have that as a start for my off-season stereo work! Happy to pay shipping of course.
